CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan - CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan— Lance Cpl. Pabel Solis-Zumarraga role plays a patient Oct. 18 during the pandemic influenza isolation exercise aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The isolation exercise was part of Exercise Constant Vigilance 2017. Different commands practice responding to a pandemic outbreak of avian influenza H7N9 Oct. 17-19. It is one the many exercises MCIPAC conducts yearly in order to prepare to effectively respond to crises in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, save lives, and preserve regional peace, stability and security. Solis-Zumarraga is a facilities engineer with Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Installations Pacific-Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, Japan.
