Two several-ton ferries, still attached to their concrete pier, sit on the road leading to the harbor. The ferries, along with their pier, were lifted and moved almost 100 yards inland by the massive tsunami that tore through the island March 11. Marines and sailors with 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit began clean-up efforts in support of the local citizens.
